What We Do
The Weston Police Department responds to calls 24 hours a day, and strives to provide professional police services. In addition to law enforcement calls for service we also respond to:
- All medical emergencies
- Fire calls to assist with traffic
- Public functions
- Fundraisers
- School events
- Mutual aide to neighboring cities

Permits
Pistol Permit
If you would like to obtain a pistol permit, please refer to the Pistol Permit/Eligibility Certificate Application (PDF).
Peddlers Permit
If you would like to obtain information on a peddlers permit, please contact records division at 203-222-2636.
Hire an Officer
The Town of Weston has an ordinance to ensure the safe passage of roadways during construction and special events. If you are planning to work on any town road and will be in the travel portion of the roadway an officer must be hired to assist with traffic.
Contact to the police department shall be accomplished 48 hours in advance by calling our 24 hour dispatch center at 203-222-2600.
If exigent circumstances exist or an emergency arises preventing the notification please contact the dispatch center and ask to the on-duty supervisor of the police department.
Fingerprinting
WESTON RESIDENTS AND TOWN EMPLOYEES: Fingerprinting is available for all town residents and employees of the Town of Weston. The process takes approximately 30 minutes, and is done electronically. Please make an appointment with the Police Chief's assistant by calling 203-222-2636.
Our department is often subject to situations which are beyond our control due to staffing, so we thank you for your patience in advance.
