Hello Weston. First Selectwoman Sam Nestor here with an important Covid update
The total number of reported cases in Weston went from 1,691 to 1,708, an increase of 17 new cases since our last update on June 27, 2022. However with the increase in home testing, the actual number is potentially much higher. While people need to make their own decisions about masking in public, it is important to be aware that cases continue to rise.
Masks are optional in all municipal buildings. Please see here for the notice https://www.westonct.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/7243/637812935570395611. Municipal Properties are open to regular business. Appointments are not necessary; however social distancing in our buildings is still required. Please note: Masks may still be required in other locations outside the municipal authority.
The current COVID 19 Dashboard from the Schools can be found at the following link, note that items in this COVID dashboard may not have shown up in the state recorded numbers. Data is updated regularly. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x9nswxZtZmRbMZwZXFnZeHNG1NR7v3Adgogl5pOtSF8/edit#gid=0
With Gratitude,
First Selectwoman Samantha Nestor
