Due to dry conditions and fire danger, a state of emergency exists within the Town of Weston
A ban on all outdoor burning of fires in the Town of Weston is in effect.
The members of the Weston Conservation Commission will meet with representatives of the Aquarion Water Co, at the base of the Saugatuck Dam entering from Vally Forge Road near the east side of the bridge below the dam. This is an educational meeting about dam and company operations. The purpose of the meeting is to tour the facility and learn about the operations and improvements to regulate seasonal flows on the Saugatuck River related to the river and its natural systems. No Commission business will take place during the session
