Hoedown 2023

It's HOEDOWN time down on the Farm! Come kick up your heels and enjoy some mouth-watering barbecue with friends and family! This is an annual fundraiser for the Farm so please come show your support of Lachat! Please note that tickets must be purchased in advance of the event on our website.

Your evening’s entrance price will include a welcome cocktail, wine & beer, a delicious bbq dinner from famous Odeens Barbeque, live music performed by the super fun Flying Fingers Jug Band and dancing. Eric Hollman, famed dance caller from the Hudson Valley, will travel to the farm to teach some new dance moves for Country Swing, Line Dances, and more. Never square-danced before?... no worries! And of course there will be the Chicken Dance for the kiddies with the Lachat Chicken! We’ll also once again have our tantalizing wine pull.

And a PUMPKIN HUNT! We'll have one hunt for the little littles and a second for older kids, including a hunt for the Great Pumpkin! We’ll have a best-dressed contest! So pull out your best outfit, including those cowboy hats and boots. Dress warmly but rest assured we'll have the farm's signature roaring bonfire to keep us warm.

We'll be dining outdoors and dancing in the barn, so dress appropriately. If it rains, we will move into the Daniel E. Offutt III Education Center.

[Please note: Sponsorship opportunities are available - please contact Carol Baldwin @ carolWbaldwin@gmail.com if you would like to sponsor the Hoedown - promote your business, support Weston's own town farm, and be recognized as a Rodeo Wrangler($500+), High Stepper($250+), or Turkey Trotter($100+). Your business will be recognized at the event, on our website, and in our e-newsletter.]

Tickets on sale Tuesday September 19 @9am.
