TOWN OF WESTON
WARNING OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7, 2023
The legal voters of the Town of Weston, Connecticut, are hereby warned and notified that a Special Town Meeting will be held at the Weston High School Cafeteria, 115 School Road, Weston,  Connecticut, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. The Board of Selectmen has nominated Bob Uzenoff to serve as Moderator of the Special Town Meeting in accordance with Sec 3.3b of the Weston Town Charter.

Persons eligible to vote at this Special Town Meeting must be an elector of the Town of Weston or a United States citizen of the age of eighteen years or more who, jointly or
severally, is liable to the town for taxes assessed against him on the assessment of the less than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) on the last completed Grand List of Weston, or who would
be liable if not entitled to an exemption.

The meeting shall be held for the following purpose:
To consider and vote on the following question:
“Shall the Town create a Capital Account entitled “Public Safety Telecommunications (Land Mobile Radio Project)” and to fund said account with a special appropriation of $4,500,000.00 from the Unassigned Fund Balance?
