Part of the 2023 WEF Gardening Series
June 4, 2023 - 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Lose the plant ‘losers’ and add the winners – your garden and the earth will thank you! Learn which non-native and invasive plants don’t belong – and get ideas for excellent native replacements that provide beauty for your landscape and habitat for the pollinators we depend on.
In this program, join UConn Advanced Master Gardener, Master Composter, and Registered Monarch Waystation Creator Alice Ely as she provides an overview of which plants can cause environmental problems and which ones to plant instead.
We are thrilled to be able to offer this free, 5-part gardening series, made possible through a generous grant from the Weston Education Foundation.
Even though this is a free event, it’s important that we have accurate numbers leading up to the program. As such, pre-registration is required - thank you for your assistance!
