Celebrate summer with Play With Your Food - OUTSIDE and IN PERSON on Saturday, August 15th at 6 pm for an hour of irresistible short playreadings that will transport you with their charm and hilarity. Leading off the program is Mary Louise Wilson’s The Deer Play. It’s a perfect summer love story – a woman and her garden – until the deer show up and almost put her over the edge! “Next up is 'The Sandbox’ by Scott Mullen. Why are these adults in a sandbox? The answer might surprise you! Wrapping up the program is The Agenda by Michael McKeever, a hilarious and topical take on political correctness gone haywire.
Bring your chairs, bring your dinner but most of all, bring yourself for this delicious summer treat. Doors open at 5pm at Lachat Farm, 106 Godfrey Road West in Weston. Please allow plenty of time for parking, and admission as attendees will be led to their individual seating groups. Recommended for audiences at least 16 and older.
Social Distancing Rules: We will have social distance markers for you to wait at for while checking in. Masks are required upon entering and must stay on until you are seated. Seating will be done in family/friend pods of 1-4 people and each pod will be at least 8ft. away. There will be no trash cans for safety. No food or beverages will be provided but you are welcome to eat before and after the performance at Lachat. You are asked to transport out any garbage from food brought in. There will be one bathroom available for use with a hand sanitizing station.
Please purchase exactly the number of tickets for people you would like in your pod. We can not accommodate pod seating for people that have purchased separately.
